9th International Conference on Steel and Aluminium Structures

3 - 5 July 2019

The University of Bradford (West Yorkshire, England) hosted the 9th International Conference on Steel and Aluminium Structures (ICSAS19) in 2019.

The conference, held in Hollins Hall Hotel and Country Club, was attended by over 150 delegates from 25 countries. Professor Martin Priest, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Informatics at the University of Bradford, opened the conference by highlighting the importance of the conference in the context of the relevance of the University's research specialisms and being a ‘technology-led' University.

The three day conference brought together nine keynote addresses by experts on steel and aluminium structures from Australia, Europe and the Far East on buildings and bridge structures made from steel, composite and aluminium.  138 papers were also presented at 27 parallel sessions.
