Biography
Dr Smit Luyt hails from South Africa where she has been teaching both undergraduate and postgraduate modules on Sustainable Development and Green Economy at Stellenbosch University. She has also worked as a senior research manager, policy advisor and project co-ordinator on a number of projects across Africa. She holds a Doctorate in Public Management and Development Planning, a Master's and Post Graduate Diploma in Sustainable Development, a Bachelorâs Degree in Business Management and Administration and a National Diploma in Public Relations Management. Her interests and expertise relate to sustainable development, systems thinking, renewable energy, resource use, green/circular economy, gendered aspects of growth and development, stakeholder engagement, and sustainable and âjustâ cities. Learner Support Office Hours Mondays 3pm to 4pm (Online) and Tuesdays 1pm to 2pm (Online)To arrange a PAT or a Project Supervision meeting please book via the Virtual Office.
