Biography
Mat graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Media, Technology & Production from the University of Bradford in 2002, and having dabbled in broadcast television and commercial production returned to the university in 2005 to manage the Broadcast audio-visual counter facilities for the Faculty of Engineering & Informatics.He specialises in outside broadcast and television production, having built the university's 15 tonne Outside Broadcasting truck in 2010. Outside of day-to-day facilities management for the specialist resources in the faculty, he acts as the OB technical manager for events run in partnership with BBC Yorkshire, supporting election specials and Children in Need, alongside live streaming and broadcast of campus events including graduation ceremonies, varsity sports and public lectures / talks.
