Biography

Elaine Wilkinson has been a Radiography Lecturer at the University of Bradford since 2005 and involved in the course development, delivery and revalidation of the undergraduate BSc (Hons)Diagnostic Radiography and Postgraduate Provision with the MSc Medical Imaging and MSc Medical Imaging International Programmes. During this time her roles have included Clinical Education Co-ordinator, responsible for the organisation and assessment of clinical practice and engaging with stakeholders; and more recently MSc Medical Imaging Programme Lead. Elaine is currently undertaking a project for Health Education England around training capacity and models in the Northeast & Yorkshire.

Research

Research areas include use of portfolio’s in the clinical assessment of undergraduate students; supporting learners; common clinical assessment tools; clinical placement and capacity models, and simulation based education.
