The University is delighted to offer two full-fee Master's scholarships for talented and high achieving students who are studying on a full time MSc programme within the School of Management, commencing study in September 2024 or January 2025.

The Keith Howard Emerald Scholarship is one of the most prestigious scholarships offered by the University of Bradford. It honours Dr Keith Howard OBE, a philanthropist, academic and businessman who was raised in West Yorkshire. Howard, who died in 2021, was a graduate of Bradford’s School of Management and began his academic career there. Together with a group of management colleagues, he formed Emerald Publishing in 1967. It has since grown into a global operation, with over 300 active academic journals and 250 books published every year. Throughout his life, Howard was passionate about his local community and founded the Keith Howard Foundation in 2008 to support the arts, sport and education in West Yorkshire. Both Emerald and the Keith Howard Foundation have shown a commitment to building a more inclusive society.

The University is looking for two Keith Howard Emerald Scholars who display the same combination of academic excellence and motivation that distinguished Keith Howard during his life.
