Dr Brinda Mahadeo is an Assistant Professor in Strategic Management and Leadership at the School of Management, University of Bradford. Her research is interdisciplinary in nature, and centres around the broad Corporate Governance theme.

Her current research deals with board diversity and the paradox of shareholder and stakeholder primacy. She has published in journals such as Business and Society, Journal of Business Ethics, Accounting, Auditing and Accountability Journal, and the Journal of International Business Education among others. She serves on the Editorial Board of the Journal of Business Ethics, and she made the list of 2021 JBE Top Reviewers.

She has also been on several national and international funded research projects both as Principal Investigator and member.
