The Guardian league table uses eight measures to compile its annual league table (published this year on September 7), including National Student Survey results, career prospects, how satisfied students are with teaching and student to staff ratio.

Bradford scored:

  • 90.0% for continuation, meaning it has excellent rates of first year students continuing into their second year
  • 80% for career prospects after 15 months - according to the most recent Higher Education Statistics Agency Graduate Outcomes Survey 94% of UK domiciled undergraduates at Bradford were in employment or further study within 15 months of graduation (above the national average)
  • 75.2% of students were satisfied with their course and 78.4% were satisfied with teaching

Claire Pryke, Associate Director Outreach, Recruitment and Admissions, said: “These rankings show we are consistently performing well in a broad range of subjects, and that we perform highly particularly in continuation rates and career prospects. As an institution, our core aim is to make a meaningful difference, and these results show we are doing just that.”
