The Pint of Science festival at the University of Bradford, taking place from 13-15 May 2024, brings science out of the labs and into the local pubs and cafes, giving you the opportunity to engage with scientific research in a relaxed and informal setting.

This year's line-up promises to be as thought-provoking as it is diverse, covering topics that touch upon our daily lives and the choices we make, from the environmental factors that impact our health to environmental impacts of weapons of mass destruction.

Organiser Jacobo Elies (Associate Professor, ICT, Faculty of Life Sciences, University of Bradford) said: “Pint of Science is a testament to the University's commitment to public engagement and science communication, ensuring that knowledge is not just confined to academic circles but shared widely and enthusiastically with the community. So, grab a drink and join the conversation, because science is for everyone, and it's happening right at your local hangout.”
