Postgraduate Loans
If you start a full-time or part-time Master's course this year, you may be eligible for the government's Postgraduate Loan, which is open for applications.
You can borrow up to £12,167 to put towards your Master's fees or your living costs - you can even use it to part-fund the cost of an MBA.
Please be aware that the loan will not cover your full fees and living costs, so you must have alternative arrangements in place, e.g. part-time work or a Career Development Loan to make up the difference.
Eligibility
Eligibility doesn't depend on personal or family income, but you need to:
- be under 60-years-old
- ordinarily live in England/the EU (not including Northern Ireland, Scotland or Wales)
- not already have a degree at Master's level or above
See full eligibility criteria on the government website.
Check out our postgraduate courses now, or find out more about the loan on the Find a Master's website.
