Welcome to the school of Optometry and Vision Science. Our students are taught by staff who are high profile qualified optometrists, all with broad experience in optometric practice and teaching. Staff are also actively involved in academic research, with which you may become involved in your final year.

The England women's cricket team helped investigate whether elite sportspeople have superior vision. It’s been really interesting taking part and pretty hard in places! You can see how it might have a role in training for both catching and batting.
