Dr Eddie Ross
Why did I join the Innovation and skills advisory board?
The Bradford-Renduchintala Centre for Space AI intends to combine the disciplines of artificial intelligence and distributed networking with Space systems and satellite applications. This is fascinating, and I wanted to be a part of it. I joined the ISAB as I am keen to support the centre to deliver research excellence and provide a setting for students to develop the skills and perform the innovation we need in the UK Space sector. Furthermore, I want to ensure the centre is world class and well-connected with Space and non-Space stakeholders to increase the impact of its work.
What can I offer to the Centre?
- Guidance on space research and academic communities
- Collaboration opportunities with the Satellite Applications Catapult, industry, and the research base
- Internship opportunities with the Satellite Applications Catapult and MSc project suggestions
- Experience and expertise in Space systems engineering, imaging systems, quantum technologies, and data analysis techniques
