Why did I join the Innovation and skills advisory board?
I was excited to hear about the objectives of The Centre that aligns so closely to our own roadmap of providing future solutions to our Customers. I am pleased to represent Teledyne UK Space and network with others in this exciting field to enable the goals of The Centre. Involvement with the ISAB will enable me to share real use cases and influence the next generation of Engineers to support a career in the space industry that is driving solutions to so many of today’s societal challenges.
What can I offer to the Centre?
- Industrial guidance on the latest space imaging detectors for earth science and earth observation that are generating the current and future imaging data sources
- Experience of distributed processing in image sensor front end electronics for space
- Network across the broader Teledyne businesses that form the Teledyne Digital Imaging group, in particular Teledyne e2v Semiconductor that are developing Processors, memory and data converters required to enable distributed processing in space
- Collaboration opportunities to generate solutions to real use cases
- Define the skills required by Industry
