Travel
Our green travel options provide a cleaner environment and a healthier lifestyle. Being a city centre campus, we are ideally located with good train and bus links from across Yorkshire and afar. Bradford UNIBBUG makes cycling easier, with shower, storage and drying facilities available across our site. Our campus provides electric car charging points available for use for staff, students and visitors. Our university fleet is currently being reviewed to be upgraded to electric following the commencement of the Bradford District Clean Air Zone.
Cycling
Across the university campus there are around 100 cycle parking spaces, including a number of covered and access-controlled cycle stores. The University has invested heavily in cycle paths and facilities on campus, with showers, lockers and drying cabinets available for use. Staff and students can join our cyclist user group UNIBBUG to keep up to date with any updates.
EV charging points
University provides support to the wider uptake of electric vehicles. Staff and visitors can currently recharge their vehicle for free at charge points on campus. No card is required, however users need a valid university parking permit or a Pay and Display ticket, and can charge their vehicle for up to 3 hours between 8am and 5pm.

- Tumbling Hill Street x2 7kW
- Behind Student Central/JBP Library x10 22kW (Coming soon)
Public Transport
As a city centre campus, we have great public transport links including two train stations- Bradford Forster Square and Bradford Interchange. Both stations are within walking distance of the University and will take around 15-20 minutes.
Bradford Interchange is also the main bus station for Bradford, which makes public transport to our campus easy. The 576 Bradford-Halifax bus runs at regular intervals from Bradford Interchange and stops on Great Horton Road.
