The University of Bradford runs a free summer school to help you with your transition to higher education.
Applicant Progression Summer School
Our Applicant Progression Summer School is for students who have applied to the University of Bradford and have accepted us as their Conditional Firm (CF) or Insurance (CI) offer.
This year's summer school will be held from 24-28 July. It will be a non-residential four day academic summer school.
Students who successfully complete the summer school will be eligible to receive 12 UCAS points towards their offer at Bradford (excluding non-included courses).

They include workshops and items covering:

- deciphering jargon and making the most of your lectures
- reading strategies and effective note-taking
- how to write in an academic style
- library, IT and finding resources
This year the Trans:it Summer School takes place on 12-13 September, and the Trans:it Summer School (Mature Students) takes place on 14-15 September. If you are eligible to take part you should receive an email inviting you to book a place.
