Meet our Students and Graduates
I was instantly drawn to the Pharmacy course at the University of Bradford, and not just because of its excellent employment prospects. I was drawn to the new, innovative Team-Based Learning (TBL) curriculum which is very practice orientated from the start.

This requires planning and co-operating with other members of the exec. It involves organising social events for members such as bowling, charity football and online competitions; and academic events including first aid training, careers symposiums and collaborations with other universities.
During my time at university, I have been very lucky and had the opportunity to travel in the summer holidays. In my second year I volunteered in Faridabad, India. It was a place far from the tourist areas of Agra and Jaipur and the conditions were very similar to those seen in Slumdog Millionaire.
I am currently a 5th year Pharmacy student completing my final 6 month pre registration training placement. Come January, I will be returning to university to complete my final semester of my degree.
I completed a 10-week placement at St James's University Hospital in Leeds which included time in Biochemistry, Histopathology, Microbiology and Genetics. A second placement was at the Yorkshire Regional Genetics Laboratory allowing a much more hands-on approach than my previous placement.
