Inspiring Lecturers at the University of Bradford
Not only are our courses designed with industry input, they're taught by the academic experts shaping the very future of those industries - academics applying their knowledge to research in order to find solutions to today's challenges.
Whether leading large UN missions, researching cures for cancer or working with British police forces on criminal cases, our academics are renowned experts in their field.
Our lecturers bring with them real-world experience from industry.
Many of the academics teaching you and working with you are often asked to comment in the national and international media, and several work as special advisers to the Government due to their insight into global events.
To mark the University of Bradford's 50th anniversary, taking place in 2016, we've appointed 10 outstanding academics as Anniversary Chairs.
They have all achieved distinction in their fields and are advancing their subjects nationally and internationally.
They are leading the University's strategy of being a world leader in cutting-edge research, knowledge transfer to enhance economic development and producing graduates making a difference to people and society.
Professor Vincent Gaffney
