Our Alumni

The Faculty of Health Studies is keen to build and develop relationships with its alumni (and the alumni of its predecessor institutions) and to hear about alumni success stories.

Here are some ways alumni can get involved with the Faculty:

Postgraduate / Post-registration study

The Faculty of Health Studies offers a wide range of Postgraduate Specialist Skills and Post Registration Development (SSPRD) modules and programmes, which may be of interest to our alumni who are now working as healthcare professionals.

For more information on the opportunities available, please visit our Postgraduate section, and search for a programme.

Students may be able to access funding through the Health Education Yorkshire and the Humber Contract, for the cost of their course fees. This funding is subject to availability. Information on funding eligibility criteria can be found on the NHS website (external link), or in our fees and funding section.

Reconnect with the Faculty of Health Studies

We always love hearing from our former students!

Whether it is putting together an alumni profile, adding a success story to our printed and online publications, or contributing to an event or presentation, there are many ways in which you can reconnect with us. If you have memories, photographs or items from your time studying with us that you would like to share, we would like to hear from you too.

Please contact us if you would like to get involved.

You can find out more about what some of our alumni have been doing since they graduated in our alumni profiles section.

Alumni Mentoring

Alumni currently working in a wide range of healthcare positions have been matched with current undergraduate students.

Our mentoring scheme has allowed both parties to share their experiences, and has enabled our students to benefit from the expertise and insight of alumni currently working in the same professional area.

Celebrating 50 Years

We have created a new website to celebrate our 50th Anniversary, looking back on key events in the history of the University of Bradford and its predecessor institutions (which date back to 1832).

The site also looks forward to our next 50 years and beyond, as we continue to grow as one of the world’s great technology universities.
