Visitor Parking

We have a limited number of visitor car parking spaces available at both campuses therefore car parking cannot be guaranteed. Please look at other options first. If you still need to drive make sure to leave sufficient time just in case you need to find alternative parking.

Should you get a space at one of our visitor car parks you must then obtain a car parking permit from the Richmond Building reception. The permit must then be displayed clearly on the windscreen of your vehicle within 15 minutes of parking.

City Campus parking

Visitors coming to the City Campus can use the first-come, first-served visitors car park, adjacent to the Richmond Building.*

This can be accessed from the University entrance on Great Horton Road (see the pictures below). The postcode for Sat Nav purposes is: BD7 1AZ.

* If you're visiting us for an Open Day, Applicant Experience Day, conference or an event there are specific parking arrangements in place (follow the links below for more information). The visitors car park is usually only available for guests who are coming on campus for a meeting.

Car parking permits

A car parking permit must be obtained from the Richmond Building reception, once you're in the car park.

Alternative parking

If the on campus parking facility is full please use one of the nearby NCP car parks in the city centre or parking available on the local streets around campus. Other car parks are marked on the map below.
